Bitcoin Mining is Toxic for the Environment - Pi Network is Our Future

Pi Network Coin is Our Future

Bitcoin boom may be a disaster for the environment. We need a better algorithm that doesn't require wasting energy.

The cryptocurrency consumes more electricity than the entire annual energy consumption of the Netherlands...

The global electricity consumption of Bitcoin mining is now greater than the total amount of electricity consumed in Argentina.

Bitcoin has a carbon footprint comparable to that of New Zealand, producing 36.95 megatons of CO2 annually, according to Digiconomist’s Bitcoin Energy Consumption Index, an online tool created by data scientist Alex de Vries.

How is bitcoin affecting the environment?

The issue is important as it demonstrates that Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, and distributed computing or ledger systems (such as blockchain) demand vast amounts of processing and energy, which has implications for the environment and for climate change.
In the end, it could be environmental implications, not economic ones, that halt the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies. All Bitcoin mining should be environmentally friendly.

Can a green, planet-friendly, cryptocurrency fix our toxic realtionship with the enviroment?

Pi Network seeks to offset the environmental damage done by Bitcoin mining. A new cryptocurrency network launched by a group of Stanford graduates claims to have what it takes to succeed where Bitcoin has failed: a way to bring crypto to the masses, and without the energy-guzzling blockchain that damages the environment.

It’s designed to run on mobile phones. The First Digital Currency that can be mined from a regular smartphone, energy free. No battery drainage, does not use RAM of your phone. User & Planet-Friendly! Easy to use security at scale, without the massive electrical waste.

Renewable energy should be world's top priority for the future

The Earth is a miracle. In nature, everything is linked. But recently, we have broken those links. You're only 200,000 years old, but you have changed the face of the world. A world where the possible becomes impossible. Our energy requirements are constantly increasing. Transport, deforestation, industry, agriculture. Everywhere, machines dig, rip and bore from the Earth. We are destroying the cycle of a life that was given to us. The pollution is catastrophic and people cause it themselves. We breathe polluted air, we drink polluted water and eat polluted food. Plants and animals die out, people get sick from pollution. So our duty is so fight for a better world and try to survive. Where should we move? Do we not learn valuable lessons from our mistakes? What we can do now? Everyone, from poorest to richest, can make a contribution. Education, culture, innovation and research are inexhaustible resources. Programs exist that guarantee sustainable forest management. They must become mandatory.

Here are some examples: 5,000 people live in the world's first ever eco-friendly district, in Freiburg, Germany. Other cities partner the project. The governments of New Zealand, Iceland, Austria, Denmark, Sweden and other nations have made the development of renewable energy sources a top priority... etc. We know that the solutions are there today. We all have the power to change. Yes, we can do it! All we have to do is stop destroying the Earth. All we have to do is learn to exploit the Sun. The use of renewable energy should be increased. Can we make this world a beautiful place to live? Yes,we can make this world a beautiful place to live. The world can be a harmonious and beautiful place. Let's create a perfect world!
